Back by popular demand! Saskatchewan’s own award-winning singer-songwriter pianist Jeffery Straker is set to perform another series of concerts in prairie grain elevators this summer.
Departing Ogema, arrive by train at the historic 1922 Federal grain elevator in Horizon. The concert in this unique grain elevator setting will feature many of Jeffery’s songs including some from his latest release “Great Big Sky”, nominated for a 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award. Last year’s listeners learned that the acoustics in this old elevator are fantastic.

Jeffery was recently featured performing in a national broadcast on CBC Radio’s “The Current”, and he found a new fan in His Majesty King Charles III after his album (somehow) made its way into Buckingham Palace. He’s been chosen by the National Arts Centre to represent Canada performing at Expo ’25 in Osaka, Japan later this summer. All aboard!
